this sounds like recorded music was discovered by a post apocalyptic society but only vinyl remained, and they thought the time-worn remains were supposed to skip, deified it, and for years made music based off of their discoveries

This album has a very interesting relationship with distortion while still keeping your ears trained for melody. It's wonderful and challenging and I can't give it enough praise.
